Last Sunday (3rd February) the juniors met at Alsager to stage round 3 of this seasons competition. Jostling for car park spaces was the first challenge as the Alsager 5k seemed to have attracted a record turnout. The 5k won.

in division 1 results went with the form book in the main. Wizards B found life hard but got a creditable draw against Canute. Wizards A only success was against their B team. Canute did secure a draw against the stronger Alsager team. Shavington A had a clean sweep of wins to lead the table at the half way stage remembering that the final two rounds are in the form of a mini league over two events.

In division 2 Shavington had their B and C teams. Shavington C had a tough day not helped by being a player short. Nantwich A also were one player short so did well securing the points against Shavington C. Shavington B despatched these two easily enough with a full team but found eventual leaders Crosses too much of a hand full. Crosses enjoyed a clean sweep and look favourites for the title.

Division 3 had three Wizards teams in it. True to selection they finished in the order of C, D then E. Nantwich B were the exception who secured their only win against Wizards E.

The next and decisive session is on March 3rd again at Alsager minus the 5k. All the results and tables can be found on the web site under the Junior League menu option.
