News from our Tournament Secretary

Happy Autumn everyone!

The new season has started and it is now time to start thinking about tournaments.  The first in the calendar is the Masters Tournament which will be held on Sunday 11 Nov from 10am to 2pm at Cheshire College South & West, Crewe Campus (formerly South Cheshire College), CW2 8AB.

It is remembrance Sunday and we will observe the 2 minutes silence.

As usual we will be offering all the doubles formats across 2 age groups, Over 40’s and Over 50’s.  It is worth noting that this event is handicapped thus levelling the playing field (or court) and giving all entrants a fair chance of victory.

If you wish to enter then please contact me via email or phone (details below) and ensure that you receive confirmation.  You should include the following information in your entry:

·         Name

·         Partner Name

·         Events entered (mens/ladies/mixed)

·         Age category (O40/O50)

·         Contact details

Please note that you must be a registered player in the Crewe and District Badminton League to enter.

Entry cost is £7 per player per event.  Entries will be not be accepted after 4 Nov to allow for courts to be finalised and handicaps to be allocated.
