Last seasons award of the Stan Smith trophy was a little delayed whilst we got to opportunity to seek Evie out to do a little presentation. This trophy is awarded annually to the most improved player. Whilst not limited to junior players, the trophy tends to recognise improvement most in our younger players whose bad habits are yet to form, and also they tend to listen to coaches a bit more!! Evie has had a great journey from early days with dad Chris through the Alsager junior section and now she is a stalwart of the senior world. Evie was a regular with the Alsager junior league teams and inevitably in more recent times has been operating in the top division.  She started representing Alsager senior teams some time ago with plenty of success. It is a pleasure to announce the League's most improved player for season 2025/6 is EVIE GEAL.
