The President of the Cheshire County Badminton Association  - Roger Ewing - has sadly passed away. Roger was a larger than life character across Badminton in the county for many years and maintained his interest and presence at committee meetings until the end. He will be known to some of you, so the details of his funeral are given here as provided by the Association Secretary - Doreen Francy. 

The Service will be held in Birkenhead School Chapel, 57 Beresford Road, Birkenhead, Merseyside, CH43 2JD at 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday 20th January 2026.  Please note that there is no on-site parking at the School so attendees are requested to park safely in the surrounding roads.  Beresford Road is one-way and the Chapel entrance is towards the bottom of the road on the left-hand side.

The service will be followed by a private cremation ceremony at Landican Crematorium to be attended by family only.

All will be welcome to join the family afterwards at The Wheatsheaf Inn, Raby Mere Road, Raby, Wirral, CH63 4JH.
