We heard from Cheshire County Association this morning with some bad news. See the note below from Doreen Francey concerning two ex council members who may have been known to some of you.

It is with great sadness that I write to advise you that David Spencer died in the early hours of this morning. David retired as Hon Treasurer and Registrations Secretary of CCBA a number of years ago and his health had been deteriorating over the years.

I also have to advise of the death of Chris Garrett who passed away on the 30th March. For those younger Council members, Chris was a past Chairman and Match Secretary for many years.

We are grateful for all the work both Chris and David did on behalf of CCBA during their years in office and will express the County's condolences to both Pat and Bev and the families.

They will both be sadly missed.
